Immunizations are an important part of disease prevention and maintaining one’s health. At Effingham Prompt Care, we offer many common immunizations including: TD, TDAP, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis A.
Flu Shot
Influenza is a serious illness, which can lead to hospitalization or even, in rare cases, death. When you vaccinate against the flu, you not only help protect your own health, but you protect those who are unable to receive the vaccine.
Travel Vaccinations
Are you planning a trip abroad? If so, be sure that you are up-to-date on all your recommended vaccinations. Getting vaccinated will keep you safe and healthy from diseases that are rare in the United States and will prevent you from bringing serious diseases home to your community. Patients should plan to get vaccinations at least 4 to 6 weeks before traveling. If there are any vaccines or immunizations we can't provide, you will be promptly sent right next door to the Effingham County Health Department, located conveniently behind our clinic.
