DOT Physicals
Mandated by federal law, professional truck and bus drivers need a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical (usually every two years). A typical DOT physical will include checking the patient’s vital signs, lungs for any wheezing or difficulty breathing, abdomen to confirm liver and bowel health and heart and skin for signs of underlying diseases. Other testing - including urinalysis for glucose levels and a drug screening may also be required. We are FMSCA Certified Medical Examiners.
